May and June 2015

During May and June most of the site was uncovered, revealing many interesting finds. There were lots of nails and bolts and various pieces of metal, slates and pantiles, bricks, carstone and small glass bottles with numbers on the side. The major find was the skull found on 27 June.

The elevator base found on 30/4/15 was fully uncovered and researched. See animation which shows how it worked.

Many walls and floors were uncovered, plus small trenches, top of the cistern, a small sloping trench lined with cement, a furnace area and several other features.
