Blue Flower

At Heritage Open Days 2024 part of the free merchandise provided by the organisers of the national open days were survey cards with a link to the HOD website where visitors could give feedback on their visit for a chance to win a prize. I ordered the cards and we gave them out to most of our visitors.

This was well worth doing, as the results have now been collated and sent to all venues, we had five responses from visitors to our open days which were all very positive:-

1/  Such a rare historical building set in a beautiful area, what is not to like.  Volunteers have worked very hard to slowly bring it back to life we can see their progress year on year,  well done to them, keep up the hard work.

2/  Although I have lived in the area for over thirty years I didn't know of this site and it was interesting to visit with grandchildren. I will go again and give myself time to read everything.

3/  We were on a walk from Pentney to the Bone Mill and when we arrived there we discovered it was an open day and were really pleased as we have never been before only walked past. My husband had a particular interest and it was beautiful to see the water wheel turning.

4/  Very informative, a little known site, hidden in Norfolk countryside, manned by knowledgeable volunteers, and an ongoing project.

5/  Very nice to see this site & given a good idea how it would have looked back in the day. Made welcome by the tour guides.

It is really encouraging for the organisers and volunteers to get positive feedback like this, we appreciate visitors taking the time to give their reviews.
